Symptoms and Changes in a 37th Week Pregnant Women

If you are 37 weeks pregnant, you will obviously notice some new changes in your body. Every woman experiences pregnancy in a different way, but there are numerous things that are common to all the expecting mothers.

At this time your cervix starts softening since your body gets ready for the entire procedure of labor. You may also go through some contractions.

The number of movements may less down a little, but you will start feeling quite bumpy owing to the large size of your belly. You will also feel the urge to pee quite often since the pressure on your bladder increases.

If your pregnancy is in the hot summers, you may feel very uncomfortable and may also require a fan which is continuously blowing on you every time.


You should visit your doctor for a regular check-up; you will also have an internal exam to find out how far down the head of the baby is. This examination will give an idea to the doctors to calculate the approximate time of your delivery.

You may also experience some spotting at this stage. The mucous discharge may take place which is brownish in color. This is very common, and it’s not a cause to be anxious about.

Your breast also becomes more sensitive in the 37th week, since milk starts filling in. It is very likely that you may go in labor on any day now, and expectation is undoubtedly very high.

Make a list of everything you may need during your labor, so that there is no hit-or-miss while you rush for your delivery. Keep patience, not much time is left!
